Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow Service Portal solutions including custom widgets, themes, and pages
- Build modern UI experiences using UI Builder and Now Experience Framework
- Implement and enhance Customer Service Management (CSM) modules
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop reusable components and ensure best practices in UI/UX design
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications via APIs
- Optimize portal performance and ensure responsiveness across devices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
- Strong hands-on experience with:
o Service Portal (widgets, client scripts, server scripts)
o UI Builder / Now Experience Framework
o Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and scripting
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow Next Experience Framework
- Knowledge of Performance Analytics / Reporting
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CSM preferred)
Good to Have
- Experience working in enterprise-scale implementations
- Exposure to UI/UX best practices
- Ability to mentor junior developers
