We’re Hiring: Lead Embedded Linux Engineer!

Vhirex, we’re looking for a Lead Embedded Linux Engineer to own the stack end to end, from bootloader, kernel, device tree and drivers all the way up to middleware and applications.

Locations: Gurgaon | Hyderabad | Chennai | Bangalore

Experience: 5 to 12 years

What you’ll be doing:

🔹 Linux BSP integration and SoC product bring-up

🔹 Kernel development, customization and device tree/DTB work

🔹 Driver development for Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO and storage

🔹 Bootloader and boot flow, including boot-time optimization

🔹 Root cause analysis for complex system issues

🔹 Secure Boot, Linux security and production readiness

🔹 Mentoring engineers and working closely with hardware, QA, networking and release teams

What we’re looking for:

✅ Strong hands-on experience in Embedded Linux, Linux Kernel or BSP/Driver development

✅ Solid grip on Linux networking: TCP/IP, routing, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, bridging, firewall

✅ Comfortable debugging with Wireshark, tcpdump and iperf

✅ Good C/C++ and Shell scripting skills (Python is a plus)

✅ Experience with crash analysis, performance tuning and Git

✅ Knowledge of Secure Boot and CVE remediation

✅ BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or CS
