Cloud & DevOps Engineer (Banking) – Remote Contract

Location: Remote / offshore (Client based in the UAE)

Contract: 6 months, extendable

Working hours: Must be available during UAE business hours (GST, UTC+4)

Our client, a leading UAE bank, is modernizing how its applications are hosted, built and deployed. They need a Cloud & DevOps Engineer with real banking delivery experience to join their program.

What you’ll do

• Migrate banking applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS or Azure
• Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Improve application resilience, monitoring and disaster recovery
• Work closely with the bank’s application, security and infrastructure teams in the UAE through remote collaboration

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience on production cloud or infrastructure projects in a bank or regulated financial institution
• Strong skills in AWS and/or Azure, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps, plus Ansible and Linux
• Proven track record working remotely with distributed or offshore delivery teams
• Practical delivery experience. Certifications alone are not enough for this role.
