𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝘁.

At Volo, we look after more than 35 lakh people for over 2,000 companies. A lot of health insurance in India still runs the old way: manual steps, paper, phone calls and long email chains. We want to change that, quickly.

𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗶.

This is a hands-on engineering role. Think of it as building a start-up inside an established company. You will build a cutting-edge consumer app from scratch, and turn old, manual ways of working into simple, new-age products. You will take requirements from many sides: companies, insurers, hospitals and our own teams. You will get into our existing platform quickly, solve problems as they come, handle our technology vendors, and make delivery much faster.

We want someone at the cutting edge of tech, and an entrepreneur at heart. Very sharp, from a top engineering college, and never afraid to get your hands dirty. Someone who loves to innovate and think out of the box, has the hunger to see things through, and treats the work as their own.

You may have built your own start-up, or been one of the first engineers at one. You probably have 4 to 8 years of experience, and you are strong in Java, Spring Boot and modern web and mobile apps. You will work directly with our founder and leadership team.
