Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Workday Extend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday Extend applications. The ideal candidate should have independently delivered end-to-end Extend applications and be capable of translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday Extend applications end to end.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and configure model objects, business objects, data models, pages, flows, and reusable components.
• Develop and manage Workday Extend Orchestrations, including REST and SOAP service integrations.
• Configure security domains, access permissions, and application-level security.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and support deployments and go-live activities.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Workday Extend development experience.
• Active Workday Extend certification – mandatory.
• Proven experience independently building and deploying at least 2–3 Workday Extend applications end to end.
• Strong knowledge of model objects, business objects, and data modelling.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend Orchestrations.
• Experience integrating REST/SOAP services and working with APIs.
• Strong understanding of security domains and access configuration.
• Working knowledge of JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Ability to explain the use cases, data models, application flows, and security design of previously developed applications.Good to Have
• Workday Integration experience.
• Workday Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I) certification.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Orchestrate for Integrations.Important Note: Workday Extend certification and proven end-to-end application development experience are non-negotiable.
