Role: Senior Statistician/Senior Data Scientist

Domain: R&D Analytics/Cosmetics/FMCG (preferred but not mandatory)

Required Skills

5-7 years of hands-on experience in statistical data analysis.

Strong understanding of statistics: distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, non-parametric methods, DoE is a plus.

Proficient in Python: pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, seaborn.

Good knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filtering).

Experience in predictive modeling using scikit-learn (classification and/or regression models).

Ability to translate complex statistical outputs into simple, meaningful insights.

Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and clear communication.

Ability to work independently in long-term research-oriented projects.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-have)

Experience with cosmetic, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or scientific datasets.

Experience with scikit-learn (for basic ML models).

Experience working with large datasets and multiple variable groups.

Understanding of sensory, instrumental or formulation data (big plus).

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
