Manager- Growth (Analytics)

Swiggy
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

About the Role

You will own conversion and real-time growth levers for Swiggy Food across India Next — 700+ Tier 2/3 cities — with a headline goal of +2pp conversion by March exit.

The India Next Growth team drives OPD, unit economics and competitive response for Swiggy's fastest-growing city cohort. This role sits at the centre of that charter: you will run city-level conversion programs, manage discount and delivery-fee levers in real time, turn Zomato intelligence into counter-moves, and ship new growth experiments. You will also lead Gen-AI adoption across the team so insights and interventions move faster than the market.

You will work closely with city leaders (CLBHs / CHs), Product, Data Science, Business Finance, Engineering and Ops.

Location: Bangalore

  • Team: India Next Growth
  • Level: Manager (open to Sr. Associate / Assoc. Manager for strong profiles)

Key Responsibilities

1. Conversions, delivery-fee revenue & projects (30%)

Own the +2pp conversion goal end to end, grow delivery-fee revenue without hurting conversion, and deliver the charter's key projects.

  • Partner with Product on conversion levers — Search, payment options (UPI / COD) and COD demand-shaping.
  • Track and lift Swiggy One penetration and its conversion impact in India Next cities.
  • Fix CX and ops-stress gaps: PSLA vs ASLA, WBS / GD / last-mile capping and long-tail city serviceability planning.
  • Improve the funnel — M2O, F2M, null-search and menu relevance (FVO).
  • Cut cancellations, RDC and O2A through COD controls and item stockout / availability fixes.
  • Grow breakfast and late-night slot conversion.
  • Delivery-fee revenue: grow delivery-fee revenue per order through fee constructs, rain / surge / platform-fee realisation and city-level fee tiers, balanced against conversion impact.
  • Projects: own cross-functional growth projects end to end with Product, Engineering and Data Science, from scoping to rollout across cities.

2. Discount strengthening & real-time interventions (30%)

Get more incremental orders from every rupee of discount and delivery-fee spend.

KPIs: iOPD and ₹ per iOPD efficiency

  • Plan surges and ship fast-turnaround growth fixes for city requests.
  • Manage stress events — supply-state changes, LD optimisation and GD configs.
  • Run real-time pricing responses to competitive moves.

KPIs: D-Score coverage and cadence

  • adoption of CI-led actions by city teams

  • hours saved
  • automation coverage
  • Lead Gen-AI use-cases across all growth charters.
  • Build self-serve dashboards and RCA copilots.
  • Upskill the team and institutionalise AI SOPs.

What We're Looking For

Must-have

  • Advanced SQL and Excel (mandatory) — you pull, model and read data yourself, without depending on an analyst.
  • Hands-on Gen-AI (mandatory) — you have built LLM workflows, copilots or AI-led automations, not just used chat tools.
  • 3–6 years in growth, category, strategy or analytics at a consumer internet, quick-commerce, food-tech or marketplace company.
  • Ownership of a conversion, pricing or discount lever with measurable impact.
  • Experiment design — A/B tests, pilots, incrementality reads.
  • Bias to action: ships fixes in hours or days, not quarters, under real-time pressure.
  • Clear communication with city leaders and senior stakeholders.

Good to have

  • Python, dashboarding (Tableau / Looker / Streamlit) or automation experience.
  • Experience with Tier 2/3 or Bharat markets.
  • Exposure to competitive intelligence, pricing or delivery-fee strategy.
  • Tier-1 engineering / MBA background, or an equivalent track record.
