As a Senior Analyst, you'll be the backbone of our client engagements, translating complex market dynamics into actionable strategy, building financial models that inform critical decisions, and delivering insights that drive commercial success. You'll work independently on high-stakes projects while collaborating with seasoned strategy leaders and C-suite clients across Advanced and Emerging markets.

Job Description

The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the team and be responsible for:

• Strategic Research & Market Intelligence

• Develop comprehensive competitive landscape assessments across therapy areas, geographies, and development stages

• Conduct in-depth market analysis for biosimilar opportunities including market sizing, therapy area dynamics, pricing trends, player positioning, regulatory pathways

• Translate complex pharma data into clear, actionable insights aligned with client objectives

• Build hypothesis-driven research from both structured datasets and unstructured sources
• Financial & Commercial Modeling

• Build sophisticated financial models for product forecasting and NPV analysis

• Analyze commercial factors (pricing strategies, market access, reimbursement, competitive positioning) and highlight their impact on financial outcomes

• Support portfolio assessment and performance tracking against financial metrics

• Model biosimilar market entry and expansion scenarios
• Client-Quality Deliverables

• Produce high-impact reports, Excel models and PowerPoint presentations for C-suite and Board audiences

• Ensure exceptional quality, accuracy, and timeliness on all client-facing work

• Collaborate across teams (strategy, execution, platform, and client teams) to deliver integrated solutions

• Articulate client objectives with clarity and precision
• Market & Industry Monitoring

• Track therapy trends, competitive launches, regulatory developments, and market dynamics

• Support company profiling, launch tracking, industry analysis, and performance analytics

• Monitor biosimilar adoption curves, pricing and market evolution patterns

• Contribute insights to Ounsh's Just Biosimilar platform and thought leadership

What We're Looking For

• Experience & Expertise

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life science consulting/industry roles

• Hands-on experience with pharma strategy projects preferably in advanced markets (US, EU)

• Deep understanding of biosimilar market dynamics, commercialization/regulatory pathways and manufacturing details
• Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in MS Excel (data modeling, analysis, visualization), MS PowerPoint (slide creation, review), and in MS Word (documentation)

• Strong working knowledge of pharma data sources: IQVIA, public databases (PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, regulatory portals)

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
• Professional Capabilities

• Experienced in client handling and frequent/polished communication

• Structured thinking and hypothesis-driven problem solving

• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to simplify and convey complex concepts

• Strong interpersonal skills, comfort working across teams and with demanding clients/projects

• Self-motivated and adaptable, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

• Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and quality

• Comfortable with ambiguity, able to clarify scope and deliverables independently
• Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, pharmaceuticals, or related field (B.Pharm, B.Tech Biotech, or equivalent)

• Advanced degree (M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA, or equivalent) required
