Designation: Lead Product Analyst

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Responsibilities, aka, what we’d like you to deliver:

• Own business metrics: Define north-star and input metrics, build metric frameworks, and ensure consistent definitions.
• Drive experimentation: Design and evaluate A/B tests, assess statistical rigor, and recommend alternative methods when needed.
• Unlock growth opportunities: Analyse funnels, cohorts, retention, and unit economics to identify and quantify business impact.
• Influence product strategy: Translate insights into actionable recommendations, shape roadmaps, and measure post-launch impact.
• Build reliable data foundations: Partner with Data Engineering on instrumentation, tracking, and data quality.
• Raise analytical standards: Review analyses, establish best practices, and mentor team members.
• Lead the team (Manager track): Hire and develop 3–5 analysts, drive prioritisation, and represent analytics in leadership forums.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product or growth analytics at a consumer internet company (7+ years for the Manager track, including 2+ years of experience managing analysts).
• Strong SQL skills for working with large datasets and proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience designing, executing, and evaluating experiments, with a solid understanding of statistical power, variance reduction, and result interpretation.
• Strong product sense, with the ability to define success metrics, anticipate trade-offs, and measure the impact of product decisions.
• Proven track record of delivering analytical insights that influence business and product decisions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior leaders and technical teams.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritise high-impact problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
