Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure that the software meets specific business requirements. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and follows agile methodologies to build scalable and efficient solutions. Collaboration and continuous enhancement of software components are key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring that the delivered products align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders

Translate business needs into functional specifications aligned to Oracle Banking capabilities.

Define functional specs, product parameters, workflows, and business rules per domain.

Align Oracle Banking modules with FLEXCUBE 14.8 and surrounding systems via APIs/middleware.

Oversee data migration, SIT/UAT/regression testing, defect management

Drive release readiness, go-live execution, and hypercare support.

Co-ordinate with multi-party vendor within the team and maintain client relationships

Facilitate workshops and governance sessions

Professional & Technical Skills:

OBTF – Trade instruments: LC, BG, Documentary Credits, Collections.

OBPM – Payment processing: SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, NEFT, cross-border.

OBELCM – Credit facilities, collateral tracking, limit utilisation, exposure management.

OBCL – Syndicated/bilateral lending, drawdowns, repayments, fee management.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Flexcube Core Banking.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
