We are looking for a forward-thinking professional who can help transform traditional MIS reporting into an intelligent, automated, and AI-enabled Business Intelligence and Operational Intelligence ecosystem.

Job Summary

The Business Reporting Owner will be responsible for establishing, managing, and transforming the end-to-end Business Reporting function across client business units.

The role will act as the key owner for reporting performance, reporting governance, data accuracy, business intelligence, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with Ocean & Air Operations, Technology, Data & Analytics, Transformation teams, customers, and senior management, the role will transform traditional reporting into insightful, automated, and data-driven business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end reporting delivery across client business units, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete reporting within agreed SLAs.
Establish a standardised reporting operating model and centralised reporting mechanism across Ocean, Air, and other business units.
Transform traditional MIS reports into interactive, insight-driven Power BI dashboards with meaningful business KPIs.
Develop and standardise KPIs, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and executive-level business intelligence.
Drive reporting automation across data extraction, validation, report generation, and distribution.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Generative AI, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent reporting.
Establish an Operational Intelligence capability to identify performance gaps, operational inefficiencies, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
Work closely with Operations to ensure reporting accurately reflects operational activities, shipment milestones, business transactions, and performance.
Drive reporting data quality, reliability, technical debt remediation, and continuous improvement.
Engage with clients and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver relevant, value-driven solutions.
Establish reporting governance, accountability, performance metrics, and executive reporting mechanisms.
Lead cross-functional reporting transformation initiatives in collaboration with Technology, Data & Analytics, and Transformation teams.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
15+years of experience in MIS Reporting, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting Transformation.
Strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, KPI development, dashboard design, data analysis, and reporting governance.
Strong understanding of data quality, ETL, data integration, reporting automation, and data architecture.
Experience transforming traditional MIS reports into interactive BI dashboards.
Understanding of AI, Generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics in business reporting.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational requirements into meaningful

KPIs and actionable insights.

Excellent stakeholder management, customer engagement, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
