AI Agent Developer - Chennai - Full Time - On-site
Role Description
The AI Agent Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The person in this role will design, develop, and deploy AI agents and related components that integrate with Quascenta’s validation lifecycle products, focusing on automation, data analysis, and decision-support features. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product managers and subject-matter experts to understand business requirements, building and testing AI workflows, and refining models and logic based on real-world data and user feedback. The AI Agent Developer will also maintain existing AI functionalities, improve performance and robustness, and document technical solutions for internal and client use. Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, QA, and implementation teams is expected to ensure that AI-driven features are reliable, secure, and aligned with regulatory expectations in the pharmaceutical domain.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) and experience building production-grade software components.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of AI/ML concepts, agent-based systems, or workflow automation tools, with experience in designing and integrating intelligent services.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with data processing, analytics, and database technologies, enabling them to work with large, complex datasets from manufacturing and validation environments.
- Candidates should possess solid problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of AI-driven features.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with product, SME, and implementation teams and to translate domain requirements into technical solutions.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred; experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated software environments is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, version control (e.g., Git), and secure software development practices will be beneficial for this role.
