We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join a founding team building scalable backend systems for a high-impact healthcare commerce platform. Take ownership of critical features and influence architecture in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

🧩 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust backend services and applications that support healthcare commerce and financial services workflows.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring reliability, security, scalability, and seamless integration with frontend applications and external systems.
  • Develop and optimize backend services using Java or Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.
  • Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making to build scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of product features, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate product strategy, wireframes, and user requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, review peer contributions, and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to plan development cycles, manage feature delivery, and resolve technical challenges.✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁 𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in backend engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Java or Python, with experience building scalable and maintainable backend applications.
  • Hands-on experience with the Django framework and developing backend services.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs, including API testing and debugging using Postman.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database design, writing optimized queries, and managing relational data.
  • Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.✨ 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝘀?
