Role Description The Director at UI-NIQUE AUTOMATORS will provide strategic leadership for the community, defining the vision, goals, and roadmap for RPA initiatives and educational programs. This full-time role, based on-site in Chennai, includes overseeing weekly meetups, planning workshops, and coordinating hands-on sessions for learners and professionals. The Director will build partnerships with industry, academic institutions, and sponsors, while managing budgets, resources, and operational processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring core team members, guiding content and curriculum development, ensuring high-quality member experiences, and promoting the community through events and outreach. The role also requires monitoring trends in RPA and automation to keep the community’s activities current, impactful, and aligned with evolving industry needs.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills, including team guidance, stakeholder coordination, and strategic planning.
- Experience or strong interest in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), automation tools, and technology-driven communities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills for leading meetups, workshops, and public events.
- Background in program or project management, including organizing events, managing timelines, and overseeing budgets.
- Ability to build partnerships with educational institutions, industry organizations, and sponsors to support community growth.
- Experience in education, training, or mentoring, particularly in technology or automation fields, is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in automation/RPA are an advantage.
