About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions, enabling reliable data processing and analytics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and reporting layers in Snowflake.
  • Develop robust data ingestion frameworks for batch and real-time data processing.
  • Implement data quality, data validation, and data governance processes.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and architects to understand data requirements.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.
  • Support data migration initiatives from legacy platforms to Snowflake.
  • Implement CI/CD practices and automation for data engineering workflows.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills:

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
  • Strong SQL expertise with experience in complex query optimization.
  • Experience in ETL/ELT development and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Python or PySpark.
  • Hands-on dbt experience.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and data optimization techniques.

Good to Have

  • Snowflake certifications.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Knowledge of CDC, Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Lakehouse architectures.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
