Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python

Develop cloud native applications leveraging AWS services

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI Flask or Django.

Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway

Develop event driven architectures using Amazon SQS SNS EventBridge and Kinesis

Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases

Design secure high availability and fault tolerant cloud solutions

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation

Optimize application performance scalability and cloud resource utilization

Monitor applications using CloudWatch and troubleshoot production issues

Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices

Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership

Mandatory Technical Skills

Programming Languages

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering

8 years of software development experience with at least 5 years of hands on Python development

4 years of experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions

Strong expertise in building scalable REST APIs and backend services

Experience with Microservices and Serverless architectures.

Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

Hands on experience with Docker Kubernetes and CI CD pipelines

Experience working in Agile Scrum environments

Excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication skills

Strong problem solving and analytical thinking

Leadership and mentoring skills

Stakeholder management

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Strong documentation and presentation skills

AWS Certified Developer Associate

Experience with Generative AI and Amazon Bedrock

Exposure to Apache Kafka or event-streaming platforms

Experience with Infrastructure as Code

Familiarity with FinOps and cloud governance
