Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the role

You'll be the hands-on technical lead for our flagship agentic marketing platform. You'll design and build the bandit and reinforcement learning (RL) decision loops and the agent systems behind it, set the technical direction, and take the platform from late-stage build into live client use.

What you'll do

• Lead our multi-tenant campaign platform from a supervised client pilot to production scale.
• Own bandit and RL learning loops end to end: reward design, offline evaluation, and rollout behind guardrails.
• Build agent features for the platform: an in-product agent that uses tools safely, an MCP server, a real-time voice agent, and 1:1 web personalization.
• Write the critical code yourself, own the architecture, review code from other engineers, and use AI coding agents to multiply your output.Must-have
• 6+ years building software or ML systems, including 3+ years shipping LLM features to paying customers.
• Production ownership of bandit or RL systems, including reward design and off-policy evaluation (not just research).
• Strong grounding in probability, statistics and experimental design.
• Experience as a hands-on technical lead, ideally on a remote team across time zones.
• Strong Python and TypeScript.
• A track record of taking systems to production, with honest estimates.
• Clear written English, and daily use of AI coding agents.Nice to have
• MCP servers or machine-to-machine APIs (OAuth/OIDC).
• Real-time voice AI (SIP/WebRTC, speech-to-text and text-to-speech).
• Browser SDKs, Shopify apps or WordPress plugins.
• Martech or adtech experience (CDPs, identity resolution, direct mail).
• Compliance work under TCPA, CCPA or GDPR.
