• AI-powered answer evaluation that marks written responses and gives examiner-style feedbackThe technology is built and running. What we need now is deep teaching and exam expertise to make every question, mark scheme and piece of feedback as good as the best tutor in the room.

The roleWe're looking for an Academic Co-Founder — an experienced ACCA tutor who will own everything students learn and are tested on, while the founding team owns technology and growth.

This is not a content-writing contract. You'll shape the product alongside us: deciding what we build next, setting the academic quality bar, and bringing the voice of students and tutors into every decision. You'll be a true partner with equity, a say in direction, and ownership of the outcome.

• Location: Remote-friendly; Bangalore-based is a plus
• Commitment: Open to part-time to start, moving to full-time as the business grows

Key responsibilitiesPerfect the product

• Review and improve our mock exams, question banks and CBE experience so they match the real ACCA exams in style, difficulty and syllabus coverage
• Define marking schemes and examiner-style rubrics that power the AI evaluation engine
• Test AI-generated feedback against your own marking and work with the tech team to close the gaps
• Keep content aligned with each new ACCA syllabus, exam format and examiner reportShape the roadmap
• Decide which papers and features to prioritise based on where students struggle most
• Design new learning features: study plans, topic drills, revision notes, video walkthroughs
• Run student feedback loops and turn insights into product changesGrow the business
• Bring credibility to the brand as the academic face of ACCA Exam Verse
• Open doors to tuition providers, colleges, tutors and student communities
• Contribute to marketing content: webinars, exam tips, social posts and launch campaigns
• Help build and later lead a team of subject-matter experts and question writersExpand beyond ACCA
• Guide our move into related qualifications such as CIMA, CMA, CPA and CFA

Who we're looking for

• Active ACCA tutor or lecturer with at least 5 years teaching ACCA papers, at a tuition provider, college or independently
• Qualified ACCA member (FCCA/ACCA), or holder of an equivalent qualification such as CA, CIMA or CPA
• Proven student results — a track record of strong pass rates you can speak to
• Deep exam knowledge across Applied Skills and Strategic Professional papers, including how the CBE format works and what examiners reward
• Product mindset — you notice what's broken in how students prepare and want to build something better, not just teach it
• Founder attitude — comfortable with ambiguity, quick decisions and equity-based reward in the early stages
• Clear communicator in English, able to explain complex standards simply

Nice to have

• Experience teaching other finance qualifications: CIMA, CMA, CPA, CFA or CA
• Experience as an ACCA marker, examiner, question writer or approved content provider
• An existing student following — YouTube, LinkedIn, Telegram or WhatsApp groups
• Prior work with edtech platforms, online courses or digital assessments
• Curiosity about AI and how it can personalise learning
• Network across tuition providers and colleges in India, the Middle East, UK, Africa or Southeast Asia
