Senior Data Scientist

Role Description The Senior Data Scientist will design, build, and deploy advanced analytical and machine learning solutions that address high-impact business problems for clients across multiple domains. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai includes working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven hypotheses, models, and experiments. Day-to-day responsibilities include exploring and preparing data, selecting and training models, performing statistical analysis, and creating clear visualizations and reports to communicate findings. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with data engineers and product teams to operationalize models, monitor performance, and continuously improve systems in production. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, contributing to best practices, and staying current with emerging tools and techniques in data science and AI.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Data Science and Statistics, including model development, hypothesis testing, and experiment design.
• Candidates should possess solid skills in Data Analytics and Data Analysis for deriving insights, identifying trends, and supporting business decision-making.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Data Visualization to effectively communicate complex findings through dashboards and visual reports.
• Advanced programming skills in Python or R, and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) are highly beneficial.
• Experience working with large datasets, SQL and NoSQL databases, and modern data platforms or cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential.
• Prior experience in one or more of Infinyty Tech’s focus domains (E-commerce, CPG, Financial Services, Insurance, Crypto, HR-Tech) is an advantage.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering is recommended.
