Company Description Founded by former engineers from Google, Zomato, and Swiggy, Legman.ai is building the "agentic operating system" for the modern Indian solicitor. We develop agentic AI solutions that automate repetitive legal tasks from automated petition drafting to AI-powered due diligence.

Type: Paid (5K-7K INR per month)

Role: Legman AI is looking for an early-career UI Developer to join our product team, remote. This role suits a recent graduate, bootcamp grad, or intern-level candidate who is comfortable turning design mockups into clean, responsive interfaces and wants to grow quickly in a hands-on role. You'll work closely with designers and backend engineers, with the opportunity to work at an early-stage startup and learn hands-on from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain responsive UI components using Angular, TypeScript and modern UI component libraries
• Translate design mockups into pixel-accurate, accessible web interfaces
• Develop rich UI components for agentic workflows, including streaming text/chat interfaces, document diff viewers, and rich-text legal draft editors.
• Maintain and expand our reusable UI component library to ensure visual consistency across all product surfaces.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers in daily standups and sprint planning
• Address UI bugs, optimize render speeds, and ensure seamless cross-browser responsiveness. Requirements:
• 0–2 years of experience building web UIs (internships, personal projects, coursework, or bootcamp work all count)
• Strong fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern React.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Tailwind CSS or modern CSS-in-JS libraries.
• Basic understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficient with GitHub for version control and collaborative workflows.
• Demonstrable work through personal projects, open-source contributions, bootcamp builds, or prior internship work.
• Eagerness to take feedback, iterate rapidly, and solve complex user experience problems.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design, or equivalent practical experience.Nice to Have:
• Experience with TypeScript/Next.js/React
• Familiarity with component libraries like Shadcn UI, Radix UI, or MUI.
