Backend Engineer — Node.js, AI & Data Extraction

Location: Sewri, Mumbai, India

Visionx is hiring a Backend Engineer to join our product team and build reliable systems for APIs, AI-powered document processing, web data extraction, and structured land/drawing data.

What you’ll work on

• Build and extend backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Integrate LLMs into real product workflows for document reading, data extraction, and structured output.

• Develop reliable web-scraping pipelines and maintain clean, usable data.

• Extract information from DWG and similar technical drawing files.

• Convert land and property data into structured, application-ready formats.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Experience building and maintaining production APIs.

• Practical experience using LLMs beyond chat-based prompting.

• Knowledge of document processing and structured data extraction.

• Experience building reliable scraping or data-ingestion systems.

• Understanding of DWG, CAD, land, mapping, or property data is valuable.

Good to have

• Experience in developing Prop Tech Products

• MongoDB

• AWS

• PDF and Excel parsing

• Experience with property, land, mapping, or geospatial data.
