About the role

We’re looking for a Python Developer with hands-on experience in computer vision, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). You’ll help build and customize solutions that extract, interpret, and process information from images and documents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python applications for vision, OCR, and IDP workflows.
  • Build image and document processing pipelines for classification, text extraction, and data capture.
  • Integrate OCR engines and document-processing services into applications.
  • Process and validate extracted data, including handling errors and low-confidence results.
  • Develop and integrate APIs to connect processing workflows with other systems.
  • Evaluate output quality and improve accuracy, performance, and reliability.
  • Work with the team to understand product and client requirements and deliver suitable solutions.
  • Write maintainable code, document key workflows, and participate in reviews and testing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in python.
  • Practical experience with computer vision, OCR, Deep learning, and document processing.
  • Familiarity with tools or libraries such as OpenCV and OCR frameworks or services.
  • Experience building APIs and working with structured data formats such as JSON.
  • Working knowledge of databases and Git.
  • Ability to troubleshoot processing issues and communicate findings clearly..

Good to have

  • Familiarity with machine learning or deep learning frameworks.
  • Experience handling varied document formats, scans, or image quality issues.
