We are looking for a highly experienced Staff DevOps Engineer to drive technical excellence across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and software delivery. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on influencing technical decisions, solving complex engineering challenges, and improving reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency across Infrastructure and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Programming language (Python /Go etc), along with a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, Microsoft engineering tools, and software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive technical decisions and best practices around Azure cloud infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, and platform engineering.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-efficient infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform.
• Improve SDLC practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, release automation, and developer productivity using Azure DevOps.
• Build automation tools, reusable frameworks, and engineering solutions using Python and Go.
• Drive Kubernetes adoption, infrastructure standardization, and self-service platform capabilities.
• Improve monitoring, observability, alerting, and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other relevant observability tools.
• Establish effective monitoring and alerting practices across infrastructure and applications, improving service health visibility and incident response.
• Leverage Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management, including secure authentication, authorization, and least-privilege access.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications, infrastructure, networking, databases, and storage.
• Drive cloud cost optimization through resource rightsizing, autoscaling, capacity planning, and efficient resource utilization.
• Promote DevSecOps practices, infrastructure security, access controls, and compliance across engineering workflows.
• Design, deploy, and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring scalability, availability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, Architecture, and Engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges and establish engineering standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and recommend solutions that improve engineering efficiency and operational maturity.
• Provide technical guidance through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing while remaining deeply hands-on.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.
• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, reusable modules, state management, and automation.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go, with experience building production-grade automation and engineering tools.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, particularly CI pipelines, build automation, release workflows, and deployment practices.
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights for monitoring, alerting, application performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, identity management, access controls, and secure authentication practices.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, performance engineering, incident management, and production operations.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, security best practices, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams.
