Back End Developer

Company Description: Findiy™ is an agentic AI system built to operate across companies in the global CPG ecosystem, focusing on the complex spaces where inter-company coordination and execution often break down. Rather than serving as traditional analytics or workflow software, Findiy acts as a multi-agent orchestration layer that forms judgments, proposes governed decisions, and executes coordinated actions among retailers, brands, distributors, manufacturers, and other partners. The platform integrates syndicated and company data as signals, uses them internally to drive secure decision-making, and never exposes data for open analysis or exploration. Human users can govern key decisions while autonomous agents then manage end-to-end execution, coordination, and follow-through. Over time, Findiy continuously learns from real-world outcomes, compounding intelligence through live execution rather than static reporting.

About the role:

We are looking for a strong early-career Backend Engineer to join Findiy. The person will help build reliable backend systems, APIs, data workflows, and AI-enabled product integrations.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving practical product problems, writing clean code, and working in a fast-moving startup environment.

The role is for someone with 0–2 years of experience who is based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate. They should have hands-on Node.js experience, be comfortable working with Python, and have strong Data Structures and Algorithms fundamentals.

On the deployment side, we’d expect them to:

• Deploy backend services and application updates to development and production environments.
• Work with CI pipelines, environment variables, and basic cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor deployed applications, check logs, and try to troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Take ownership of getting the backend code you build into a working, deployed state.
• We are not looking for someone to design complex infrastructure or solve large-scale scaling problems. The priority is a practical backend engineer who can build features and manage routine deployments independently.

What you'll work on:

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations for Mool AI and Findiy products.
• Develop scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
• Work with Python for automation, AI workflows, data processing, and internal tools.
• Collaborate closely with product, AI, and frontend teams to ship features end-to-end.
• Design and maintain databases, backend workflows, authentication, and service integrations.
• Debug production issues, improve system reliability, and optimize performance.

Required Skills

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in backend development, internships, freelance work, or strong personal projects.
• Good working knowledge of Node.js and backend API development.
• Comfortable with Python, especially for scripting, automation, or data-oriented workflows.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, Git, and basic software-engineering practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn quickly.
• Based in Ahmedabad or open to relocating to Ahmedabad.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Express.js, NestJS, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to LLM applications, AI agents, automation workflows, or third-party API integrations.
• Experience working in a startup environment or building products from scratch.
