About the Role

We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions using Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), APIs, workflow automation, and modern AI technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows, integrating AI models with business applications, and automating repetitive and complex processes.

You will work closely with business, product, engineering, and technology teams to identify automation opportunities and turn them into reliable, scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions for business and operational processes.

* Build intelligent workflows using LLMs, AI agents, APIs, and automation platforms.

* Integrate AI models with internal systems, databases, APIs, and third-party applications.

* Develop automated workflows for tasks such as document processing, data extraction, classification, summarization, customer support, reporting, and decision assistance.

* Build and integrate AI agents and agentic workflows where appropriate.

* Develop reusable AI components, services, and automation frameworks.

* Work with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar platforms.

* Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using enterprise data and knowledge bases.

* Work with vector databases and embedding technologies to enable semantic search and knowledge retrieval.

* Develop robust prompt engineering strategies and structured AI workflows.

* Integrate AI solutions with existing applications through REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and microservices.

* Build automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar platforms.

* Monitor AI applications for performance, reliability, accuracy, latency, and cost.

* Implement appropriate validation, guardrails, logging, and error-handling mechanisms for AI workflows.

* Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy AI solutions into production environments.

* Continuously evaluate new AI models, tools, frameworks, and automation technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

* 2–5+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, AI/ML engineering, or a related field.

* Strong programming experience in Python.

* Hands-on experience working with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

* Experience integrating AI models through APIs and SDKs.

* Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, and API integrations.

* Experience building workflow automations and integrating multiple systems.

* Good understanding of prompt engineering and structured outputs.

* Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.

* Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

* Understanding of Git, version control, testing, and software development best practices.

* Experience deploying applications using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Understanding of AI security, privacy, access control, and responsible AI practices.

* Experience with LLM evaluation and monitoring is a plus.

* Understanding of prompt injection, data leakage, and AI-specific security risks is preferred.

* Experience optimizing AI applications for latency and token/API costs.

* Experience with Machine Learning or NLP.

* Experience fine-tuning or adapting LLMs.

* Experience with computer vision, OCR, or document intelligence.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

* Strong programming and software engineering fundamentals.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to understand business processes and identify opportunities for AI automation.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

* Ability to work independently and take ownership of AI automation projects.

* Strong interest in emerging AI technologies and the ability to rapidly learn new tools.
