LMS Developer & Learning Platform Specialist

Company Description Brain Bristle is a non-profit organization focused on autism, inclusion, education, and the arts. Based in Mumbai, the organization partners with low-income schools to support children on the autism spectrum. Its flagship program places Social Work Fellows in low income schools to provide individualized support and promote inclusive learning environments. Brain Bristle also collaborates closely with educators, families, schools and communities to build inclusive education capacity and systems. Our work directly contributes to mission-driven work that directly impacts the lives of neurodivergent students.

Brain Bristle is looking for an LMS Developer to build and manage a digital learning portal for our teacher training programmes.

What you'll do

• Set up and customise an LMS for our teacher cohorts
• Build course modules with videos, readings, assignments and assessments
• Enable teacher uploads, feedback and progress tracking
• Create a simple, intuitive and mobile-friendly user experience
• Manage users, permissions and course content
• Train our team to manage the platform independently
• Troubleshoot and improve the platform as the programme grows

We're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in LMS, e-learning or web development
• Experience with platforms such as Moodle, LearnWorlds, Thinkific, LearnDash, Teachable, Kajabi or similar
• Strong understanding of LMS functionality, UX and web development
• Ability to recommend the right platform based on our needs and budget
• Experience integrating video, documents, quizzes and forms
• Strong problem-solving and communication skillsEducation-sector or NGO experience is a plus.

The first projectBuild an LMS for a 20-teacher Brain Bristle training cohort, with the ability to eventually scale to larger programmes.
