This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Integration Developer based in India.

This is a senior-level integration engineering role focused on designing, developing, and supporting reliable connections across business, clinical, SaaS, and data platforms. You will work extensively with Azure Integration Services, building API, messaging, event-driven, and serverless solutions in a modern cloud environment. The role also provides exposure to AWS services, multi-cloud integration, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD automation. You will play an important part in ensuring integrations are secure, scalable, observable, and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements. Working closely with engineers, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders, you will help shape technical solutions and integration architecture. The position also offers opportunities to mentor junior developers and contribute to standards, reusable patterns, and long-term technology roadmaps. This is a fully remote, permanent opportunity for an experienced integration professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering business-critical solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize enterprise integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop REST/JSON and SOAP/XML integrations connecting internal applications, SaaS platforms, vendors, and enterprise data platforms, while applying appropriate API design and integration patterns.
  • Implement messaging and event-driven architectures using queues, topics, subscriptions, publish/subscribe models, dead-letter handling, retries, idempotency, error handling, and message-ordering strategies.
  • Develop serverless functions using Python and/or C# to support data transformation, orchestration, custom connectors, and specialized integration requirements.
  • Establish centralized logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and health checks using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, including structured logging and correlation IDs for end-to-end traceability.
  • Troubleshoot production integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and support incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain reliable services.
  • Automate integration builds, testing, infrastructure provisioning, and deployments using Git-based CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Develop reusable integration templates, patterns, shared components, and automated unit, integration, and regression tests to improve engineering consistency and delivery efficiency.
  • Support multi-cloud integration requirements using AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway when required.
  • Implement secure integration architectures using Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, OAuth 2.0, Azure Key Vault, and secure credential-management practices, ensuring secrets are never hardcoded.
  • Ensure integration solutions comply with applicable security, data governance, and regulatory requirements, including GxP, GDPR, HIPAA, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain integration documentation, interface specifications, audit trails, validation materials, and integration catalogs, while participating in code, performance, and security reviews.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote integration best practices across engineering teams.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, application owners, vendors, and technical teams to gather requirements and determine the most appropriate integration approach, including APIs, messaging, event-driven, or batch solutions.
  • Contribute to integration architecture, technical roadmaps, technology evaluations, and continuous-improvement initiatives focused on reliability, performance, efficiency, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required, while a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience designing and developing enterprise integration solutions, with strong experience across APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and serverless technologies.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Azure Integration Services, particularly Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and API Management.
  • Strong experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, including the ability to use KQL for monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational analysis.
  • Exposure to AWS integration services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway, with the ability to work across multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong programming capabilities in Python and/or C#, together with working knowledge of SQL and experience developing transformation, orchestration, and integration logic.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON, XML, OpenAPI, and OAuth 2.0.
  • Working knowledge of Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
  • Experience integrating with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Microsoft Fabric is an advantage.
  • Experience in life sciences or healthcare environments is highly desirable, particularly where integrations operate within regulated environments.
  • Good understanding of GxP, GDPR, HIPAA, and applicable regulatory requirements such as CFR, CTR, and CTD.
  • Strong understanding of integration security, reliability, observability, error handling, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, application owners, vendors, and leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborate within distributed teams, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet important deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex integration requirements and recommend practical, scalable technical solutions.

Benefits

  • Annual compensation ranging from ₹33,67,000 to ₹38,48,000.
  • Fully remote work arrangement within India, offering flexibility in how and where you work.
  • Permanent, full-time employment with the opportunity to contribute to long-term enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Exposure to a broad modern technology environment spanning Azure, AWS, APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, serverless computing, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
  • Opportunities to work on business-critical integrations involving clinical, healthcare, data, and enterprise platforms.
  • Strong exposure to security, compliance, governance, observability, and regulated technology environments.
  • Opportunities to contribute to architecture, technical roadmaps, reusable engineering standards, and technology evaluations.
  • Collaboration with experienced engineers, business stakeholders, application owners, and external technology partners.
  • Opportunities to mentor junior developers and influence integration engineering best practices.
