PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGER ROLE

CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate Engineer: Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant professional experience in maintaining product commercial viability.
  • Global Exposure: Experience working in a multinational/global engineering environment, with exposure to global stakeholder management.
  • Lifecycle Management: Experience in Product Lifecycle Management & post-launch product portfolio management.
  • Process Understanding: Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Change Notifications: Experience in leading Product Change Notifications (PCN), technical notifications & safety notices.
  • Leadership & Communication: Team leadership, stakeholder management & customer communications.

GOOD TO HAVE

  • ERP systems such as Microsoft AX, Microsoft Dynamics 365 & product data management.
  • NPI / product introduction support.
  • Obsolescence management.
  • Quality, compliance & regulated-industry experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead & develop a small team of Product Lifecycle Assistants, including regular team meetings, performance reviews, coaching & structured development.
  • Track product commercial viability & profitability, maintain lifecycle visibility & establish structured review cadences.
  • Support NPI activities & ensure smooth transition from development to operational lifecycle ownership.
  • Monitor supply performance, lead obsolescence management & track lifecycle-related operational engineering activities.
  • Own & govern customer & sales communications relating to product changes, including PCNs, technical notifications & safety notices.
  • Drive customer satisfaction, resolve lifecycle-related issues & lead continuous improvement activities.
  • Lead quarterly supply & Operational Engineering factory meetings & align lifecycle priorities with broader business objectives.
