Mandatory

Hands-on C/C++ software development

• Linux
• L2/L3 networking
• Packet-forwarding/data-plane development
• Router, switch or network-product development
• At least one relevant protocol: IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, STP, multicast, DHCP, EVPN-VxLAN or SRv6
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skillsFor 6–9-year candidates, additionally expect:
• Advanced C/C++ and data structures
• Pointers, memory and bit manipulation
• IPC, synchronisation or multithreading
• GDB/core-dump debugging
• Protocol or feature ownership
• Systems design or technical leadership
• NPU/ASIC exposure preferred
