Opportunity Overview
Our client is seeking a Market Research Analyst to join their Market Intelligence team. This role combines advanced automation with analytical expertise to deliver reliable, decision-ready intelligence that directly informs product strategy, go-to-market initiatives, and executive decision-making.
You will operate within the client’s AI-enabled research stack, continuously improving workflows, validating outputs, and translating market signals into actionable insights. Your work will shape how the client builds, positions, and sells its platforms in a competitive and evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and enhance AI-enabled research workflows: Operate and improve research agents across sourcing, extraction, synthesis, and brief generation.
- Automate research intake: Build pipelines to ingest analyst reports, earnings calls, regulatory filings, and other market sources, highlighting key changes and implications.
- Validate AI-generated research: Ensure accuracy, grounding, and citation integrity by testing outputs against trusted primary sources.
- Monitor competitors and market activity: Track competitor positioning, product launches, partnerships, acquisitions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop strategic account intelligence: Create automated first-pass profiles of target institutions, refining insights for priority pursuits.
- Translate trends into business implications: Deliver clear briefs on industry, regulatory, and technology signals for product, marketing, sales, and executive teams.
- Support go-to-market initiatives: Provide market sizing, segmentation, buyer insights, and competitive positioning for launches and campaigns.
- Build reusable research capabilities: Develop scalable automations, templates, and tools for marketing and intelligence workflows.
- Identify automation opportunities: Propose practical improvements to streamline repetitive research processes.
- Create executive-ready presentations: Transform complex research into clear narratives and recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making: Lead working sessions to help stakeholders interpret evidence and navigate ambiguity.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, strategy consulting, or related analytical roles.
- Background in Big Four firms, strategy consulting, analyst organizations, or technology companies preferred.Core Skills
- Strong understanding of competitive intelligence and market research practices (market sizing, battlecards, win/loss analysis, analyst monitoring).
- Hands-on experience building AI-driven research workflows, agentic processes, or no-code AI agents.
- Familiarity with AI-native development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) for prototyping automations.
- Ability to synthesize complex reports accurately and efficiently.
- Strong research judgment with a focus on source credibility and validation of AI outputs.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate findings for technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Builder mindset with a focus on scalable, repeatable systems.

- MBA or postgraduate qualification.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise technology.
- Familiarity with banking technology, enterprise software, AI governance, or modernization platforms.
- Experience working with analyst research (Gartner, Forrester, Celent, IDC).
- Background in developing account intelligence for enterprise sales teams.
- Knowledge of APIs, workflow automation platforms, data extraction tools, or retrieval-augmented generation systems.
- Experience presenting research to senior leadership.
