We are looking for a high-ownership, detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our delivery team. In this role, you are the "engine room" of our client implementations. You will own the day-to-day execution of project plans, ensuring that every sprint, every technical dependency, and every client request is tracked and delivered with precision. This is a role for someone who is obsessed with the "how" of delivery and takes personal pride in a flawless go-live.
What You Will Do
1. Project Execution & Daily Ownership
- Drive the Plan: Take full ownership of the project schedule. You are responsible for ensuring that discovery, planning, and delivery phases stay on track.
- Sprint Command: Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies. You will own the JIRA board, ensuring tickets are well-defined, assigned, and moving through the workflow without bottlenecks.
- Meeting Excellence: Own all client-facing and internal project meetings. This includes preparing agendas, driving the conversation, and ensuring "next steps" are documented and acted upon immediately.
2. Technical Coordination & Readiness
- Track Technical Specs: Partner with Engineering and Solutions teams to track the readiness of APIs, middleware, and data migrations. You ensure that the "Definition of Ready" is met before development begins.
- Dependency Management: Proactively identify and flag technical risks. If a third-party integration is lagging, you are the first to sound the alarm and coordinate a resolution.
- Quality Guarding: Ensure that all deliverables meet Vymo’s quality benchmarks and the client's specific non-functional requirements.
3. Client Interaction & Communication
- Primary Contact: Act as a reliable, daily point of contact for client project teams. You are responsible for providing transparent, data-driven updates on project health.
- Problem Solver: Approach every challenge with a "get things done" attitude. Whether it’s a scope change or a technical bug, you take ownership of the issue until it is resolved.
4. Release & Hypercare Ownership
- The Go-Live Checklist: Own the deployment checklist. You will coordinate with QA, Infra, and Support to ensure a smooth transition to production.
- First-Level Triage: During the "Hypercare" phase, you lead the triage of reported issues, ensuring they are categorized, prioritized, and assigned to the right engineering pods for quick fixes.
Experience & Fluency
- Project Management & Technical Delivery: 4–6 years of experience in Project Management or Technical Delivery, ideally within a B2B SaaS product company.
- Agile & JIRA: Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and JIRA, with hands-on experience managing backlogs, tracking sprint progress, and reporting on sprint velocity.
- Technical Understanding: Practical understanding of data flows and system integrations, including APIs and JSON. Ability to understand technical constraints and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Exposure to the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector is a strong plus, along with an understanding of the structured processes and operational requirements of financial institutions.
Mindset & Core Traits
- Takes Ownership: Spots potential roadblocks early and completes tasks independently without waiting for constant direction.
- Clear Communication: Shares information simply, concisely, and professionally with both technical and business teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners smoothly across engineering, product, and business units to align goals and remove dependencies.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Uses a structured approach to solve challenges, balance competing priorities, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
