Lead Software Engineer

Job Title: Technical Lead – Full Stack

Experience: 6 - 10 Years

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Lead who can own the technical design and delivery of a product module end to end — from architecture decisions down to code quality — while guiding a small team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own technical design and architecture for the module/product assigned
• Write and review code across frontend and backend, staying hands-on rather than purely managerial
• Lead a small team of engineers, guide them technically, and unblock them during development
• Break down requirements into technical tasks and estimate effort accurately
• Ensure code quality through reviews, standards, and good engineering practices
• Coordinate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure smooth releases
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when they arise

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in both frontend (React/Angular or similar) and backend (Java)
• Solid understanding of databases — both relational (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team
• Good communication skills to work directly with cross-functional teams
