Role Description

The SME – Data Science is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves designing and delivering high-quality data science learning content, including lectures, hands-on exercises, assessments, and case studies tailored for job-focused training programs. The SME will review and update curriculum to align with industry requirements, collaborate with instructional designers and trainers, and mentor learners through doubt clarification and project guidance. The role also includes analyzing learner performance data to refine teaching approaches, staying current with trends in data science and analytics, and contributing to new program development and thought leadership content.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Data Science and Data Analytics skills, with practical experience applying these in real-world or academic projects.
• Candidates should possess solid Statistics and Data Analysis skills to design data-driven solutions and interpret complex datasets.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to break down problems, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights for learners and curriculum design.
• Proficiency in relevant tools and languages (such as Python/R, SQL, machine learning libraries, and data visualization tools) is highly beneficial.
• Prior experience in teaching, training, or creating educational content in data science or analytics is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and a genuine interest in learner success and career outcomes.
