Meet the Team

Enterprise Risk Technology is part of Millennium’s Information Technology organization, which is core to the health and growth of the firm. The team develops flexible, scalable technology and proprietary systems that support multi-asset risk analytics, including stress testing and Value at Risk, for stakeholders across the firm’s global risk platform.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with quants, risk managers, and technologists across New York, London, and Singapore to develop multi-asset analytics, stress testing, and Value at Risk capabilities for Millennium’s in-house risk platform.
  • Develop Python-based microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
  • Analyze and transform data using pandas, polars, and related data manipulation libraries to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Build, deploy, and manage cloud applications and services on AWS.
  • Use Git and appropriate database management systems to support reliable, maintainable software delivery.

What You Bring

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical and business challenges.
  • Experience with Python and data analysis libraries, including pandas and polars.
  • Experience developing or working with REST APIs and cloud services.
  • Relational database development experience, including strong SQL skills.
  • Unix/Linux command-line experience.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Aurora, and Redshift is preferred.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management technologies, including Kerberos, OAuth 2.0, and LDAP, is preferred.
  • Broad understanding of financial services instruments and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from a Tier 1 college are preferred.
