ABOUT US -

Abhyudaya Global Village School (AGVS) is a school for 340 children from the villages around Bawangaon, Saoner, about 45 km from Nagpur. It is run by Vikalpa, a registered society, and educates children from foundational years through Class 10, with a whole-child approach we call Panchkosh Vikas.

We're launching a fundraising campaign and need a dedicated web page that makes a compelling case for support and lets anyone contribute online in a few clicks.

THE ROLE -

We're looking for a WordPress developer to lead our fundraising campaign page from brief to launch, over 1–2 months on a project basis. You'll own the whole build: planning, design execution, Razorpay integration, testing, go-live and handover.

You'll work directly with our core team, who will provide the story, photographs, and content. You bring the technical judgement and the drive to get it live, working well, and easy for us to run after you leave.

WHAT YOU WILL DO -

Plan and scope:

• Turn our brief into a page plan: structure, user flow, timeline and milestones
• Recommend the right theme, page builder, and plugins for our existing WordPress setup, keeping them lean and well supported
• Flag risks early and keep us updated with short weekly check-ins

Build a compelling page:

• Build a fast, mobile-first page that tells the campaign's story through photos, video, impact numbers, and clear calls to give
• Make it load well on slow mobile connections, since many visitors will open it from WhatsApp links
• Set up SEO basics, social sharing previews (Open Graph), and accessibility essentials

Integrate Razorpay payments:

• Set up Razorpay on the page for one-time contributions, with preset and custom amounts
• Set up monthly recurring giving through Razorpay Subscriptions, if we go ahead with it
• Collect the donor details we need (name, email, phone, PAN, address) for receipts and 80G compliance
• Set up automatic thank-you emails and payment confirmations, and make sure every transaction is captured cleanly for our records
• Test end-to-end in Razorpay's test mode before going live, including failed and refunded payments

Launch and hand over:

• Set up tracking (Google Analytics or similar) so we can see visits, conversions, and where donors come from
• Handle security, backups, and plugin updates for the launch
• Hand over a short written guide and a recorded walkthrough, so our non-technical team can update text, photos, and amounts on their own
• Offer 2–4 weeks of post-launch support for fixes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Must have 2+ years building and launching WordPress sites, with a portfolio of live work
• At least one live Razorpay (or similar Indian payment gateway) integration you can show us
• Comfort with Elementor or Gutenberg blocks, plus enough PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customise beyond templates
• Experience with hosting, domains, SSL, caching and site speed
• A track record of leading projects on your own and finishing on time

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Experience building donation or fundraising pages, ideally for an NGO, school or social enterprise
• Familiarity with donation plugins such as GiveWP, and with 80G receipting
• An eye for design and storytelling, so the page persuades, not just works
• Hindi or Marathi, for easier day-to-day coordination

PLEASE SHARE:

• A link to a live page where you integrated Razorpay

• Duration: 1–2 months, plus 2–4 weeks of post-launch support

• Compensation: Fixed project fee, based on scope and experience
