About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Freelance AI Product Engineer to develop and integrate AI-powered features into an existing ERP system. The ideal candidate should have strong full-stack development skills, hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), and the ability to build reliable, secure, and scalable AI solutions for real-world business use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered task creation and automation features within the existing ERP system.
• Build event-driven workflows that generate tasks based on ERP data, business events, and predefined triggers.
• Implement voice-to-task functionality supporting Telugu, Kannada, and English.
• Develop AI-powered weekly management reports with actionable business insights.
• Integrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini into existing applications.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, webhooks, queues, and scheduled workflows.
• Optimize AI response time, latency, reliability, and overall system performance.
• Implement appropriate data security, access controls, and safeguards for AI-generated outputs.
• Test, evaluate, deploy, and monitor AI features in a live production environment.Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Practical experience integrating LLM APIs, including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
• Strong backend development skills and experience building REST APIs, webhooks, queues, and schedulers.
• Experience developing and deploying AI-powered features in production environments.
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, latency optimization, reliability, and AI security.
• Ability to integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and business workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based engagement.Good to Have
• Experience working with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or internal business applications.
• Experience implementing speech-to-text and voice-based workflows for Indian languages.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks and AI performance monitoring.
• Experience integrating WhatsApp APIs or other messaging platforms.
• Experience designing event-driven automation and AI-assisted reporting solutions.Application Requirements
