Senior UI/UX Developer

Job Summary

The IT Development team delivers modern, intuitive, and consistent digital experiences across enterprise applications. This role will help simplify complex business workflows, improve application usability, and establish reusable UI/UX standards across the application portfolio.

The Senior UI/UX Developer will own both user-experience design and front-end implementation. The role works closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams to translate requirements into user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready interfaces. The successful candidate will balance user needs, technical feasibility, accessibility, performance, and business outcomes.

Job Duties

• Translate business requirements into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, flow diagrams, and intuitive, production-ready user experiences for Angular and .NET Core applications.
• Design and build responsive, accessible, and high-performing interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bootstrap, and related front-end technologies.
• Integrate front-end components with .NET Core services, REST APIs, and data-driven enterprise workflows.
• Establish and evolve shared design systems, reusable UI components, interaction patterns, and design guidelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams to deliver consistent user experiences.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user/process flow diagrams to communicate end-to-end experiences and validate usability, technical feasibility, and business alignment.
• Modernize existing application interfaces by improving navigation, workflow simplicity, accessibility, performance, and visual consistency.
• Conduct design reviews and guide development teams in implementing approved UI/UX standards and patterns.
• Use stakeholder feedback, usability observations, and available product insights to improve user experiences and inform design decisions.
• Champion accessibility, usability, responsive design, and front-end engineering best practices across applications.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on UI implementation, component reuse, and design consistency.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
• Equivalent education combined with relevant professional experience may be considered.

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX development, UX engineering, front-end development, product design engineering, or a related field, required.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing user interfaces for enterprise applications built with Angular and .NET Core, required.
• Strong experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bootstrap, and responsive web design, required.
• Experience translating requirements and design concepts into production-quality, responsive, and accessible interfaces, required.
• Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional products, architecture, engineering, and QA teams, required.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, interaction design, wireframes, interactive prototypes, flow diagrams, and front-end implementation, required.
• Strong proficiency in Figma; experience with TypeScript and modern component-based front-end architecture, preferred.
• Experience defining design systems, reusable component libraries, and UI governance standards, preferred.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, responsive design, REST APIs, usability testing, and modern web application architecture, preferred.
• Experience modernizing legacy or data-intensive enterprise applications, preferred.

License/Certifications:

• Microsoft or industry-recognized certification in Azure application development, Angular, or modern front-end development, preferred.
• UX, web accessibility, or inclusive design certification, such as IAAP CPACC or Web Accessibility Specialist, preferred.

Software:

• Proficiency in Figma, Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code, browser developer tools, and modern front-end development toolchains, required.Proficient in Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, preferred.
