Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Scientist who will work on digital and e-commerce data, using analytical and modelling techniques to draw meaningful insights that drive online business growth. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with business understanding and a storytelling mindset to translate data into actionable strategies.

Must-Have Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Solid understanding of data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
  • Knowledge of Streamlit and frontend applications
  • Experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering
  • Ability to design and evaluate predictive models
  • Good communication and data storytelling skills
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
  • Basic understanding of data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

Good to Have

  • Exposure to marketing analytics or digital campaign optimisation
  • Familiarity with web and e-commerce platform data (Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.)
  • Experience with A/B testing and customer segmentation

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer behaviour, campaign performance, and transaction data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Build and deploy analytical models to optimise marketing and sales strategies
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for business teams
  • Develop dashboards and visual reports to track business KPIs
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology teams to define data-driven strategies
