Direct Reporting Line: Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO)

*Required Experience: 10–15 years preferred in technology, consulting, enterprise solutions, managed services, or similar sectors

*Specialized Experience: 5–7+ years in Product Management, Offering Management, Portfolio Management, or Solution/Commercial Strategy.

Market Type: B2B and enterprise experience; experience in the Saudi government sector, tenders, and composite projects is preferred.

*Language: Strong Arabic and English, at an executive communication level, including proposal and commercial material development.

Purpose of the Role:

Lead and manage the product and offering portfolio at the Leader Holding group level, ensuring that every relevant capability, product, or service within the group is converted — where appropriate — into a clear, sellable, executable, scalable, and profitable market offering. The role holder is institutionally accountable for answering four questions: What should we offer? To whom? What value do we deliver? And how do we design, develop, and manage the offering across its lifecycle?

The Outcome This Role Must Deliver:

The group must not carry scattered capabilities, duplicated products, or commercially unclear services. The required outcome is a unified, understandable portfolio in which every element has a defined target customer, a clear problem or need, a specific value proposition, a known scope and delivery model, a commercial and pricing model, competitive differentiation, a named owner, and a growth plan — or a decision to discontinue it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market, Customer & Opportunity Intelligence: Direct research into markets, sectors, customers, competitors, trends, government priorities, and emerging technologies, and convert findings into decisions on products, offerings, and opportunities worth investing in.
  • Product & Offering Portfolio Management: Build and maintain a unified record of all products, services, platforms, solutions, centers, and offerings across the group; classify them, review their viability, and eliminate duplication.
  • Determining What Should Be Built or Developed: Propose new products and offerings based on market need and group capabilities, and set investment priorities in collaboration with the relevant companies.
  • Offering Design: Convert technical, consulting, and operational capabilities into clear offerings covering the target customer, the problem, the value, the scope, the deliverables, the delivery model, requirements, assumptions, differentiators, and core offering terms.
  • Product Management: Ensure every recurring or scalable product has a vision, roadmap, target segments, use cases, development requirements, and performance indicators.
  • Lifecycle Management: Decide when a product or offering should be launched, improved, scaled, merged, suspended, or discontinued, based on commercial and strategic performance.
  • Feasibility & Business Cases: Prepare or review the business case for significant products and offerings, including market size, potential revenue, cost, margin, investment, risk, and breakeven point.
  • Pricing & Commercial Model: Define pricing logic and the commercial model in coordination with Commercial & Pricing and Finance, without holding final financial approval where that authority is delegated elsewhere.
  • Commercial Enablement: Equip Marketing and Sales with product and offering materials: value proposition, segments, messaging, use cases, competitive advantages, offering scope, FAQs, and sales enablement tools.
  • Governance & Decision-Making: Establish a review and approval mechanism for products and offerings, and escalate material decisions to the Group CEO: launch, major investment, merger, discontinuation, or a strategic change to the portfolio.

Key Organizational Relationships:

  • Group CEO: receives portfolio recommendations, investment decisions, priorities, new products and offerings, and discontinuation or merger decisions.
  • Subsidiary CEOs/Managing Directors: source of capabilities, plans, and constraints; alignment point on product/offering owners and development plans.
  • Solution Architecture: converts the required offering into an executable solution design and architecture, particularly for composite solutions and large projects.
  • Commercial & Pricing and Finance: test profitability, cost structure, pricing, contract terms, and commercial models.
  • Marketing & Sales Enablement: convert product and offering strategy into market messaging and materials, and enable sales teams.
  • Sales / Account Management: gather market voice and opportunities, validate offering fit, and feed back customer and competitive insight to leadership.
  • LeLab and technical/delivery teams: develop required product or technical components and execute the roadmap per approved priorities.
  • Customer Success/ Delivery: provide usage, satisfaction, issue, and lessons-learned data to evolve the product and offering.

Required Competencies

  • Market and commercial thinking: understands need, customer, competition, and opportunity size; does not start from technology alone.
  • Value and offering design: able to move from capability to a clear, coherent value proposition and offering.
  • Product and portfolio management: roadmaps, prioritization, lifecycle, portfolio rationalization, product governance.
  • Solid technical understanding: need not be a Solution Architect, but must understand technology well enough to challenge assumptions and coordinate with architects.
  • Financial and commercial understanding: business case, revenue, margin, cost, pricing, investment, scalability.
  • Leadership without direct authority: able to mobilize multiple companies and units around a shared product or offering decision.
  • Executive communication: able to distill complexity and present options, recommendations, and required decisions clearly to the CEO.
  • Decision discipline: able to say — this is not yet a product, this offering is duplicative, or this opportunity is not worth the investment.
