FULL TIME UX Lead Solution Consultant

Candidate will lead and owned solution design and cross team coordination for a modernization program. Your focus will be bridging business outcomes with technical delivery across UI/UX, integration, and Managed File Transfer, ensuring meeting compliance required standards. Shape solution architecture, define integration/API patterns, manage teams, maintain solution artifacts, manage risks and dependencies, ensure testing and operational readiness, and report progress to stakeholders.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate collaboration among UI/UX designers, integration architect/s, and Managed File Transfer resources, unblock dependencies and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Translate business outcomes into solution requirements and epics; ensure traceability from requirements to delivered features.
• Define integration patterns (API led, event driven, batch/ETL) and data models (canonical schemas, mapping, transformation rules).
• Define error handling, retry, and failover mechanisms independent of integration tools.
• Ensure API governance and lifecycle management standards (versioning, security, documentation) Build and maintain delivery roadmaps with clear milestones; monitor risks/issues and mitigation.
• Provide client facing updates, prepare steering materials, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Enable agile ceremonies (PI planning, backlog refinement) and ensure Definition of Ready/Done is met.
• Being a key contributor and advocate of Java, integration experience, Microservice, API Management frameworks in projects and programs
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams for clarity and alignment.

Required Qualifications:

• Over 15 years hands on experience in solution consulting/architecture or senior business systems analysis within large scale public sector or regulated environments.
• Good communicator and collaborator with the customer
• Experience in working GDS, UCD standards and compliance for UK public sector
• Understand full Integrated Architecture and drive Agenda and Meetings with Client
• Able to provide effort estimation with minimal deviation
• Proven track record coordinating cross functional teams (UI/UX, integration, testing, DevOps).
• Strong understanding of Java, microservices, Integration tools, API-led connectivity, REST, OAS/RAML, security standards.
