Responsibilities:

• AI and Skills Development : Own the market research capabilities of Sagan Agents, from tracking studies to synthetic personas. Work with the current Product Owners to translate ZoomRx's methodologies into reusable AI skills, and identify other consulting workflows the platform can support.
• Hands-On Building : Prototype new capabilities with AI to test how they should work before handing them to tech for implementation. Ship skills directly into the Sagan Agents platform, and work with the tech team to integrate and maintain your part of the product.
• Cross-Functional Leadership : Work with the current Product Owners to capture research expertise and resolve questions about how the product should behave. Partner with tech on implementation and with consulting leadership on priorities.
• Product Strategy : Set the direction and roadmap for your area, deciding what gets built next based on client needs, consulting priorities, and how the agents perform.
• Quality and Evaluation : Turn the quality standards for each project type into evaluations that can be run consistently. Build representative test cases and scoring criteria with subject matter experts, and use the results to catch regressions and decide whether changes make the agents better.
• Standards and Mentorship : Set the conventions and best practices for building agent capabilities, and guide others across the organization who contribute to them.

Required experience & skills:

• 5+ years in a consulting role at Consultant level or above, with experience across multiple project types.
• Uses AI daily and has built reusable skills for real consulting work. Can make the instructions and context clear enough for others to use, and refine the skill when it fails on real tasks.
• Experience creating or contributing to repeatable AI evaluations. Can translate expert judgment into test cases and scoring criteria, and use the results to guide product improvements.
• Has built working prototypes of product ideas with AI, using them to resolve questions about behavior and scope before handing over to a tech team.
• Sound judgment about frontier AI models, grounded in using them to build and test. Can explain how differences in model behavior affect a product's quality and the choice of model for a particular task.
• Comfortable with the technical tools and workflows needed to ship work into the product, with the drive to get hands-on quickly.
• Deep understanding of ZoomRx methodologies and how studies are designed, analyzed, and delivered.
• Product mindset: thinks in reusable systems rather than one-off solutions, and makes sound prioritization calls.
• Ability to make expert, implicit knowledge explicit, with clear and precise writing.
• Strong sense of ownership. You take full accountability for outcomes, follow through without being chased, and raise problems early rather than waiting for them to escalate.
• Proven ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders across consulting, tech, and product.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make progress while the product and ways of working are still taking shape.
• Bonus: Can model a feature or system as objects with clear responsibilities and relationships. You use that structure to challenge unnecessary components and work with developers on the simplest design that meets the user need.
