Java Software Engineer

Must-have skills

• Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, JUnit 5 and Mockito
• Microservices design implementation and Restful APIs.
• Apigee API management
• React or Angular with TypeScript
• GCP: Cloud Run, Cloud SQL / AlloyDB (PostgreSQL), Pub/Sub, IAM, Cloud Logging
• Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Intellij / Eclipse as the primary IDE
• Daily use of LLM coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist or similar) for development, optimization, test generation and deployment scripts, with critical review of AI output.
• Work with Agents to increase productivity and code quality.Good to have
• Mainframe modernization experience or working knowledge of COBOL, JCL and DB2
• Terraform, OpenTelemetry or Dynatrace
• Automotive, insurance or financial products domain experience
• Google Cloud certification.Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5–9 years of full stack development, including 3+ years on a public cloud (GCP preferred)
• Experience in Agile / Scrum teams and strong English communication skills
