Role Description The Senior Java Software Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Deoria. In this role, the engineer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, with a strong focus on building robust and scalable backend services. Typical day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, implementing and optimizing microservices, integrating with APIs, and ensuring high performance and reliability of the systems. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, review code, and guide less-experienced team members. Responsibilities also include participating in architecture discussions, troubleshooting production issues, improving development practices, and contributing to documentation and testing.
Qualifications
- Strong software development skills, including experience with application design, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Java and core programming concepts, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, including building, deploying, and maintaining distributed services.
- Solid knowledge of the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for enterprise application development.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git), build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and mentor other engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in agile development methodologies and knowledge of software testing practices and tools.
