Role Description

We are looking for a Software Developer who specialises in conversational AI and automation to build and run chatbots and voice agents that talk to real customers on the channels they already use: WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS and voice calls. You will own features end to end, from retrieval and prompts to the gateway that delivers the message, and connect them to third-party tools, our ERP and business workflows.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has already delivered these solutions for real clients and run them in production, not someone who has only built demos or personal projects. We care about what you have built and your ability to own a feature from idea to live traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build chatbots and voice agents for text and voice channels.
• Build LLM RAG pipelines: document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, and evaluation, so that answers are grounded in company data.
• Integrate the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform, Telegram and SMS gateways, including webhooks, message templates, delivery status, and opt-in handling.
• Integrate speech-to-text, text-to-speech and telephony into voice agents, with attention to latency and call flow design.
• Design and build end-to-end automations that connect messaging channels, AI models, third-party tools, CRMs, our ERP, and internal systems through APIs and webhooks.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party tools and services where they are the faster or safer choice.
• Develop and deploy mobile applications and integrate them with back-end services.
• Monitor conversations and automations, handle failures and fallbacks, track cost and response quality, and improve them over time.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, tested code, and take part in code review and CI/CD workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering chatbot, voice agent, automation, or messaging integration projects for real clients, running in production.
• Hands-on experience with the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform, and with Telegram and SMS gateway integration, in production.
• Strong experience building automations that connect messaging channels, AI, and third-party tools.
• Experience integrating third-party tools and services through their APIs and webhooks.
• Demonstrable experience building text and voice chatbots or voice agents.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs and RAG: embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval quality.
• Experience with speech-to-text and text-to-speech services.
• Strong back-end skills, including REST APIs, webhooks, and database integration.
• Demonstrable experience developing and shipping mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Git, testing practices, and CI/CD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative team.
