Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Roorkee, focused on power electronics for EV charger projects. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software components and embedded systems that interface with EV charger power electronics and control modules. Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing algorithms for monitoring, protection, and efficiency, and collaborating closely with hardware and power electronics teams to ensure reliable system integration. The role involves writing clean, testable code, conducting debugging and performance tuning, and supporting validation, testing, and documentation of software features. The Software Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and standards for EV charging solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in relevant languages (such as C/C++, Python, or similar) for embedded or control systems.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to design modular, maintainable software architectures.
  • Experience or familiarity with Back-End Development concepts, APIs, and communication protocols used in hardware-software integration.
  • Understanding of power electronics, embedded systems, or control systems, preferably in EV chargers or related energy technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work on-site in Roorkee.
  • Experience with version control, testing frameworks, and basic documentation practices; exposure to industrial or automotive standards is an advantage.
