AI Architect - Forward Deployed
About the Role
- We are looking for a senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer / AI Architect to work directly with large US-based
- OEMs and legacy manufacturing enterprises, helping them identify and deploy AI opportunities across multiple
- business functions.
- The work spans a variety of complex business problems, primarily through vertical AI and applied AI across
- manufacturing and supply chain. You will work closely with business leaders, executive stakeholders, engineers,
- and domain experts to understand how these organizations operate, identify high-value opportunities, and shape
- AI initiatives from discovery through execution.
- We are looking for someone who stays at the forefront of developments in AI and understands how to translate
- those advances into practical, production-ready solutions in real enterprise environments.
- This is a highly hands-on role. You should enjoy building, experimenting, architecting systems, and solving
- problems where the requirements are not always clearly defined.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with major OEMs and manufacturing enterprises on enterprise-level AI initiatives.
- Identify opportunities where AI can improve manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality,
and operations.
- Translate complex and often ambiguous business problems into technical solutions.
- Architect and build applied AI solutions using modern AI, LLM, agentic, multimodal, and machine learning technologies.
- Work with executives, business leaders, technical teams, and manufacturing domain experts.
- Take initiatives from early discovery and prototyping through deployment and adoption.
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and determine where they can create meaningful enterprise value.
- Help shape both customer solutions and reusable vertical AI capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- AI Architect, Staff/Principal Engineer, or equivalent technical capability.
- Strong software engineering and system architecture fundamentals.
- Deep interest in and understanding of modern AI technologies.
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to build, prototype, and solve technical problems directly.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly understand complex manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Comfortable operating in environments with significant ambiguity and ownership.
The problems will often be ambiguous, the difficulty will be high, and the scope will continue to grow. For the right person, so will the ownership, impact, and rewards.
