Technical Co-Founder

Role Description The Technical Co-Founder will be responsible for leading the end-to-end technical development and maintenance of Chiefos’s core products and platforms in a full-time capacity. This on-site role, based in Mumbai, involves architecting system design, writing clean and scalable code, and overseeing deployment, security, and performance optimization. The role includes close collaboration with the founding team on product strategy, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and iterating quickly based on user feedback and market insights. The Technical Co-Founder will also build and mentor a small technical team, establish development processes, evaluate tools and technologies, and contribute to fundraising and investor discussions where technical expertise is required.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and Research abilities to understand user needs, analyze data, and inform product and technical decisions.
• Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with founders, team members, customers, and stakeholders, and to clearly explain technical concepts.
• Experience with Sales and Marketing collaboration to align product features with go-to-market strategies and support technical aspects of demos and pitches.
• Hands-on experience in software engineering, including system architecture, backend and/or frontend development, and cloud infrastructure.
• Prior experience in startup environments or early-stage product development, with comfort in ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Ability to build and lead a small technical team, define best practices, and implement reliable development and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with modern development tools, frameworks, and version control; experience with security, scalability, and performance optimization is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
