About the Client

We are a strategic advisory and investment firm working with private equity firms, combining deep industry insights, strong relationships, and proprietary technology to create value across the investment lifecycle. We are building an in-house platform engineering capability where technology and automation play a critical role in driving business impact.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer – AI & Automation who combines strong Salesforce development skills with architectural thinking and hands-on ownership of enterprise system integrations.

In this role, you will own Salesforce solutions end-to-end, design integrations across multiple business systems, and use AI-powered development tools such as Claude and Claude Code to improve engineering efficiency. You will also drive development standards, CI/CD practices, automated testing, and technical collaboration across developers, QA, and business stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to build scalable systems, establish engineering best practices, and help shape an automation-first development environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience across configuration and development, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, APIs, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, automation patterns, and platform design.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations across enterprise systems using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, middleware, SQL/NoSQL databases, and third-party platforms.
  • At least 1 year of experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or equivalent.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows involving code review, automated testing, and controlled deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based version control, branching strategies, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce deployment tools such as SFDX or Gearset.
  • Ability to guide developers and QA testers, review technical deliverables, and establish engineering standards.
  • Active participation in Agile practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and Google Apps Script for Google Workspace integrations is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud are preferred. Salesforce Architect certifications are an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Salesforce solution design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL queries.
  • Design integration architecture across Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
  • Use AI development tools to streamline requirements, coding, testing, and release workflows while ensuring code quality and production safety.
  • Establish and maintain Git-based change control, code review standards, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Ensure configurations, code, and integrations are version-controlled, traceable, and auditable.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with the Product Manager and internal architect.
  • Provide technical guidance to developers and QA teams, manage sprint execution, and support the growth of the Systems team.

Tools & Platforms

Candidates should be comfortable working across the following:

● Salesforce - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, custom objects and integrations

● Claude & Claude Code - primary AI development environment (enterprise license)

● Git-based version control - GitHub / Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, SFDX, Gearset or equivalent
