Position Overview: Provide SAP ABAP Technical solutions in an SAP ISU environment for NA clients and customized Vertex SAP services. The prospective hire should be able to lead a team of technical resources and deliver solutions for our current and upcoming projects. She/he should collaborate with the functional team, client(s) and NA team members to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deploy solutions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Expert in SAP ABAP with knowledge in SAP IS-Utilities environment, Enhancements (BADIs/User Exits/Enhancement Points, FQEVENTS, Forms), Module Pool programming, Reports (ALV and List), RFC Function modules (BAPI), and interfaces, BDC and Call Transactions
• Expert in ABAP Development tools like Workflow, Business Object Repository and Idoc .
• Hands on experience with ABAP CDS views and AMDP, good knowledge of S4 HANA ABAP Coding standards.
• Knowledge of SPDD, SPAU, FIORI would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Customer Service module will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of FIORI development using Web IDE will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of Technical and Business Master Data in SAP IS-Utilities
• Expert in SAP for Utilities and should have basic functional knowledge in any of the modules of SAP-ISU such as Device Management, Billing, FICA, IDE etc.
• Analyze client production operation defects and modify ABAP objects to correct the problem
• Work closely with functional team to ensure that business requirements are properly developed and deployed within SAP applications.
• Adjust technical objects and remove any conflicts caused by applying new service pack or enhancement pack or any upgrade activities.
• Understand VertexOne’s development standards and follows the standards in all future developments and enhancements
• Develops technical specifications and works with functional resources to complete object development and testing.
• Define unit test scenarios to cover full scope of the business as well as creating master data and carry out the unit, cycle and integration tests.
• Provide development estimates as requested by client for any new functionality/enhancement.Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years SAP experience with ABAP development
• SAP experience with S/4 HANA, and IS-U CCS utilizing SAP NetWeaver technologies
• At least 8+ years of experience working in an SAP Utilities environment
• Should have knowledge of key ISU tables within most/all modules & integration of modules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills set.Desired Skills:
• Formal training or certifications in SAP
• Experience in SAP ISU with knowledge of ISU Data structures and tables
• Knowledge of any SAP ISU Modules like FICA/Billing/Device Management would be an added advantage
