Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET and C#, database development, API design, and modern application deployment practices.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to lead and mentor software developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions while ensuring application security, reliability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET 10, C#, and modern software development practices.
  • API Development: Build, integrate, and maintain secure, reliable, and high-performance APIs.
  • Database Management: Develop and optimize database queries, schemas, and data operations using PostgreSQL.
  • Web Development: Work with JavaScript and Node.js to develop and integrate web-based application components.
  • Security Implementation: Implement encryption, tokenization, identity and access management (IAM), and authentication and authorization mechanisms using solutions such as Keycloak.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Develop and maintain event-driven applications using messaging and event-streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka and Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD and Deployment: Manage source code and application deployment workflows using GitLab and Octopus Deploy.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain unit tests, troubleshoot defects, and ensure code quality, application stability, and maintainability.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor development team members, conduct code reviews, and promote adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, coordinate with cross-functional teams, communicate project progress, and proactively identify technical risks and dependencies.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve application performance and reliability.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C#, preferably with .NET 10.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database design, query development, and performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js for web development and application integration.
  • Experience with API development, including RESTful API design, implementation, integration, and security.
  • Understanding of encryption, tokenization, authentication, authorization, and identity and access management (IAM).
  • Experience with IAM solutions such as Keycloak.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
